Racing Hearts
I heard his voice for the first time in a few years and my heartbeat still raced.
That’s an amazing feeling. I’ve never had any other person mean so much to me that long after they were gone from my life, I was still left wanting to be with them. And this guy did it. I can certainly say that he is, without a doubt, the only man that I have ever loved with all my heart, soul, and mind.
Unfortunately, he’s not the one for me. I’m sure of this now, but I’ve always speculated that he wasn’t.
