Talking Bout a Resolution

…or is that a Revolution? Do you remember the beginning few lines of The Brand New Heavie’s "Sometimes"?

Anyway, As the new year rapidly approaches, Neil is hellbent on getting me a boyfriend. Actually, he’s hell bent on being a matchmaker for ever single woman that he knows. The problem is, as much as I love him, I’m wondering why a cheater would think that I’d take his attempts seriously.

Then again, let me take that back. He only cheated once – that anyone knows of.

It’s About Time

I think I went a little overboard with my Christmas endeavors this year. To be a single female with no kids, I sure spent a whole set of money on Wishlists for kids that included things like a Crea.tive Z.en MP3 player, incredibly expensive games for X Box and Playstation 2, Men’s sweaters, jeans, work pants, Banana Republic dresses, paper shredders, and so much more. So, it would only be fitting that I would go all out for myself as well. And in grand Cee fashion, I purchased a new Used vehicle, a souped up to the nines laptop, and other gadgets. Unfortunately, the little things suffered. My bank account was maxed out because I emptied it to purchase various items for my new vehicle.

BLURPS

I was supposed to continue writing about Rebounds, but I guess I just wasn’t feeling like discussing it any further. I’ve been going through some stuff lately. This evening, I’m feeling so inspired. However, I don’t know that I have a definitive topic to discuss.

Shawnda and I were just "gaffin" about some stuff. I love it when I have an opportunity to have thought provoking conversations with like-minded people. Our conversation was about dealing with the dualities of religion and secularism. It’s amazing to see how much of a stronghold religion has had and continues to have on the decision making processes of many individuals, ourselves included.  It was refreshing to have that type of conversation with her, as I know that many of my non-religious friends would not be able to truly understand the "plight".
